Livia Falcaru is an illustrator and visual artist currently living and working in Bucharest. The Romanian illustrator often finds herself fascinated by the daily life: faces of random people in the streets, oversized house-plants or a cup of coffee on the table. Her work is influenced by the various emotions we all feel but above all by her personal experience. Using traditional and digital techniques in every piece she creates, Livia sees her work as a medium for real and honest communication.
Her style is immersed in bold colors and strong lines. She believes that as a person she’s constantly changing and her visual style is stringing along. Livia defines her art by being surprisingly unpredictable and always evolving. As a multidisciplinary artist she is always experimenting with various new mediums such as ceramics, animation, murals but also augmented and virtual reality.
