Livia Falcaru is a visual artist currently living and working in Bucharest. The Romanian illustrator often finds herself fascinated by faces of random people in the street or oversized house-plants. Her work is influenced by the various emotions we all feel but above all by her personal experience and daily life. Using traditional and digital techniques in every piece she creates, Livia sees her work as a medium for real and honest communication.
Her style is immersed in bold colors and definitive strong lines. She believes that as a person she’s constantly changing and her visual style is stringing along. Livia defines her art by being surprisingly unpredictable and consistently inconsistent. As a multidisciplinary artist she is always experimenting with various new things such as ceramics, animation and mural art.
