In collaboration with Leftloft Design, I designed a set of illustrations for an Italian pharmacy network. The project focused on the idea of a pharmacy, seen as a trusted partner for the health and well-being of people rather than a medication point of purchase.
I was commissioned to design a set of illustrations to accompany the visual identity of the newborn brand and positively communicate the care of the person and health issues.
The artworks embody a soft and sophisticated colour palette, focused on shades of green and white cotton, and the set of organic curved shapes refer to the world of nature, underlining the link with environmental sustainability, one of the group's core values.
The name – Alma Farmacie – is an example of this intention: "alma" ("soul" in Spanish, but also from the Latin origin alo, alĕre, "feed") is a word that communicates wisdom, nourishment and protection.
