OlympiaMemories on a Plate

A few shots from the creative process behind a project I worked on with great joy together with Olympia — Memories on a Plate. They asked me which recipe I associate with a dear memory. I instantly thought of the fruit cakes my mom used to make.

I landed right back in my childhood apartment. There truly were much simpler, carefree times back then. She would often make fruit cake and the whole house would fill with hot steam carrying a vanilla scent. It’s a simple recipe but incredibly delicious: with fluffy and sweet peaches in the batter.

I initially wanted to paint everything by hand but along the way I decided to remake everything digitally. It was mainly due to technicalities related to printing on the plate. I love both versions though!
